About KL University Guntur
KL University, formerly known as Koneru Lakshmaiah College of Engineering, and Koneru Lakshmaiah University was established in 1980 as KL College of Engineering. Its campus is over 100 acres of land in Green Fields, Vaddeswaram Andhra Pradesh. It is recognised by the UGC and has received an A++ grade from NAAC. As per the KL University ranking by NIRF in 2023, it bagged 28th rank under the university category, 44th rank under engineering, 52nd rank under Management Institutes, and 50 rank in the overall category.
KL University's course list comprises undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral-level courses across many streams like management, accounting, philosophy, and others. - Library- The central library at the university has a large collection of documents and books, with more than 1,95,000 books and 32,000 non-book materials, including well-known databases. The material present in the library is relevant to different forces provided by the university, such as Agricultural Engineering, Pharmacy, Architecture, Law, and specialised books and journals.
- Hostels- KL University campus provides separate hostels for girls and boys. The hostels include furnished rooms + modern amenities, including a kitchen and dining area. There are two hostels for girls and four hostels for boys.
